We celebrated Mother's Day in style: we ditched the kids and took a loooooonnnnng bike ride around the Bay with old friends.

Any guilt Lucie may have felt was lifted when we picked up the kids and found they had had a blast without us. Milo had spent the day with Morgane at a pool party in Walnut Creek, and Felix had spent the day catching newts with his bare hands in a creek in Tilden Park (with Jeremy). Felix told us, "This was the most fun I've had in years!"
