All of a sudden Felix is finding it much easier to read. He still doesn't read books unless asked to, but he's reading all the stuff in daily life: street signs, cereal boxes, messages in Lego Star Wars. Before he'd proudly tell us every time he read a word; now, he just tells us when he's read something interesting. I guess that's the definition of functionally literate. Yay Felix!
Lucie showed Milo how to start himself up on his bike earlier this week, rather than getting a push start, and by this weekend he was zooming around like an old hand. It's time for him to take his own bike on bike rides rather than being towed behind Lucie or Dean. Yay Milo!
And today Felix lost his 7th tooth eating an apple at breakfast. He was trying to get it out. He also made his own breakfast, though the floor was a lake of milk by the time we shuffled downstairs...
And Dean reports that, after the first week on the job at Credit.com, he still likes it. It's a keeper.
