On February 2, 2010, we celebrated our 20 years of dating by marching into the Consulat Général de France and picking up the paperwork that officially makes Dean a French citizen. Vive la France!

The "bienvenue" package included the lyrics to La Marseillaise, France's national anthem.

The welcome package did NOT include a croissant recipe, or a striped jersey.
