For the last two weeks, Felix has been sucking on his lower lip to massage his tender, teething gums. His first tooth is well out now, and the second tooth is peeking out. But now, at the end of the week, he seems to have stopped sucking.

Instead, he's started to vocalize more: yowling, mewling, screetching and generally sounding like a lovesick cat. There's a few consonants mixed in, but they sound kind of unintentional. Of course, we're loving it, but our fellow restaurant goers give it a thumbs down. Maybe next week he'll have moved on to babbling?
