July 14-20, 2003

We spent a very summery week in San Diego with Grandma Harriet, now known as "Nana". On the second day Harriet was here, we pointed at her and asked Felix "What's the sign for Grandma?". He said "Nana". We're not sure how he decided that.

The word explosion continues. He says all sorts of hard stuff, like cracker ("cwacko") and helicopter ("coppo").

He finally started consistently saying "yes", usually by nodding his head. He's excelled at "no" for months; it's nice to see "yes" make an entrance.
