November 3 -16

Dean and Lucie have been busy with work for the last two weeks and perhaps haven't marveled enough in the blossoming flower that is their son. However, Felix continues to develop. It seems his march towards boyhood progresses even when he spends four or five days a week at his nanny's.

He understands the difference between "you" and "me". When asked to point to "your nose" or "my nose", he gets the right person's nose.

He's deeply into pretend play. He loves to play kitchen: hand us stuff to eat, clean the table, throw imaginary stuff away. He makes his animals wave hello and goodbye at us, and makes them hand us blocks for building stuff. And he has phone calls with us using his wide variety of actual broken cell phones from Dean.

He's starting to dance more: he'll hold hands with Dean and spin around until they're both dizzy. If you want to call that dancing.

We went on a walk and he threw himself down a gentle hill, rolling over and over with his arms crossed over his chest. We guess somebody taught him that.

He used chopsticks for the first time, sort of. At a Japanese restaurant and he insisted on eating his cereal with chopsticks. He ate a piece or two with minimal assistance from Dean.

Have you been wondering what to get Felix for his birthday or Christmas? He now has two wish lists to choose from: one on Amazon and one on E-toys. Amazon.com wish list
