Felix knows left and right. He answers correctly without a moment's hesitation, and he even brings it up himself: "Left hand is monster. Right hand is Buzz Lightyear getting monster. Pow! Pow!" Dean's worked on directions with him on his tricycle a bit, but this must have mostly come from the Snuggery. He's given every sign of being a good navigator, unlike his parents.
