[waving]: bye bye. Every baby and adult uses this sign. Milo had waved before, but now he truly gets it and waves bye bye appropriately.
[fingers in mouth]: drink. Sometimes during meals he puts his fingers in his mouth. We are still not sure whether he is asking for a drink, or complaining about teething pain.
When Lucie talks in French to Felix, he is likely to re-use the same French words she just did. However, the grammar is all English.
Lucie: Est-ce que le chien a abboyé toute la nuit? (did the dog bark all night?)
Felix: No, the chien did not abboyé all nuit.
Lucie: Je ne sais pas. (I don't know)
Felix: I sais pas either.
Lucie: Mange! (eat!)
Felix: I'm mangeing!
Lucie: Devine ce qu'on a pour le dessert, ça commence par un F. Ffffrrr... (guess what we are having for desert, it starts with an F)
Felix: Strawberries! (in French: Fraises)
