Monday was Martin Luther King Day, a holiday in Berkeley. Felix explains: "We had a birthday party for Martin Luther King at school. He's dead, but we made him a cake anyway." That's a step up from last year, when he said "We had a party for Martin Luther King, but he didn't show up."
Milo tries very hard to understand the rules of Felix's games and does his best to join them. He no longer grabs toys from Felix's hands, nor does he detroy Lego creations (or, at least, not as often). We are having trouble with teaching him not to throw... he doesn't get that it's sometimes okay (a ball), and sometimes a big no-no (he'll cheerfully throw a shoe at your face). Same problem with hitting, which comes from witnessing Felix mock-fighting.
